A visual artist and signwriter by trade, Ms Riffraff was instantly smitten by the unique artistic creativity of Burlesque and, after completing courses with Bottoms Up Burlesque and Sapphira’s Showgirls Academy, dove in to join the fun in late 2011.
Tonnes of energy and strong music underline Mia’s neo burlesque routines, which feature quirky costuming and are influenced by her love of street art and alternative music.
She has been performing regularly as a soloist at venues and events around Melbourne, as well as being a backup dancer in Sapphira’s professional troupe.
