Australia’s “Darling of Burlesque”, Rosy Rabbit is as vivacious and elegant onstage as she is behind the spotlight. Known for her playful and ravishing performance style, exquisite costume design and exciting productions, Rosy has earned her stripes as a name on the lips of audience’s nation-wide.
Beginning her foray into burlesque in 2006 with no clue how far it would take her, Rosy Rabbit leapt onto the stage with a head full of dreams and a heart full of fire. Since then she has toured Northern America and performed in some of the biggest burlesque events in Australia as well as being a featured artist and resident performer in many of Melbourne’s hottest burlesque venues.
Burlesque to Rosy Rabbit is a celebration of the feminine and she revels in the beauty and grace of this timeless and ever-changing art of seduction. A creative soul, burlesque has given her the opportunity to create exciting and innovative costumes, choreography and conceptual design as well as explore other artistic pursuits.
Having produced several successful burlesque events including the unforgettable weekly showcase, Cristal Burlesque, Rosy Rabbit in 2010 founded The Australian Burlesque Festival along with co-director, Dolores Daiquiri. With a strong desire to see Australian burlesque artists recognised internationally for their innovative and artistic style and a passion to bring the world’s finest artists to Australian stages Rosy Rabbit continues to burn brightly as an artist, producer and ambassador for Australian Burlesque.
