Honey B. Goode, the hilarious heartbreaker, has forged a reputation as an original, charismatic and surprising performer. Utilising her training in modern and classical dance, physical theatre and the dramatic arts, this chameleon-like ecdysiast delights in pushing the boundaries of burlesque. With a nod to the past and a cheeky wink to the future, Honey takes the elements of classic burlesque and puts her own modern spin on them. With performances ranging from the sublime to the ridiculous, this dazzling dame only asks that you expect the unexpected.
A fixture on the Melbourne circuit, Honey is a resident artiste at Burlesque Bar, a regular performer at Bohemia Cabaret Club, and has worked for a host of other venues and companies, including Precious Gift Burlesque’s controversial show Sex Pest. In 2010, she was honoured to be crowned best newcomer in the Australian Burlesque Festival’s inaugural Baby Bombshells competition, and is proud to have performed in the subsequent 2011 and 2012 festivals.
