Born in Europe, Nona Mona touched the shores of Australia in the late 80’s. As a child she dabbled in gymnastics, jazz ballet and the performing arts. As an adult, Nona rediscovered her love of dance, when she started pole dancing lessons almost four years ago. However, about a year ago, Nona’s love of theatre and glamour took over and she joined the Burlesque community of Adelaide.
With the burly bug well and truly buried in her system, Nona has had performances at different locations throughout Adelaide, including La Bohem, The Soul Box and Start theatre. She is also a Miss Burlesque SA state finalist and will be performing on March 9 at Star theatre. With various upcoming exciting adventures, Nona Mona is the one to watch for 2013.
